Daily Dish #17 Hot Dogs

We had another scorcher of a day yesterday, too hot to handle clay until the wee small hours. So I whipped up something quick and had it finished at about 4.30 this morning. Hope you like your hot dogs with relish and grated cheese.

Daily Dish #16 Shepherds Pie

My first attempt at making my own casserole dish and I think it turned out ok. I really wanted to make shepherds pie but didn't have a suitable dish so thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did there are a few things I've been thinking about making but couldn't find the right crockery for.

Anyway It was 40c/102f yesterday, the hotteset day of the year so far and my air con is as dead as a dodo, so I have no idea why I chose to make this winter favorite. Maybe the heat has driven me mad, lol.

Daily Dish #15 Christine's Birthday Cake

Today is Christine's Birthday so I've grabbed a few bags of chips, a case of soft drink, thrown up a banner and baked a cake. Pink is her favourite colour so a pink ombre cake seemed just right.

Daily Dish #11 Christmas Cookies

I know it's a little early but I just really wanted to try my hand at gingerbread men. 

I had so much fun making these and I think they turned out looking quite yummy.

Think I'll go make some full size cookies now. :)
